I hazard a guess that this is one of, if not the best example of the Reference 165.024 Seamaster 300 available on the market today (aside from Military examples). Replete with original crystal (which shows some crazing, and the correct deeply recessed Omega logo); flatfoot crown; totally intact original bakelite bezel; original dial and hands which have aged in absolute unison; a case with the still visible brushing on the sides and sharp polished section; deep and clearly unpolished caseback engraving. Omega Archive extract confirms production late 1967
This remarkable example came from the original owner, who wore sparingly in the early years, and was consequently tucked away until it found its way to Mann About Time
Running strong and keeping exceptional time, I very much doubt a finer example will be found for some time - a collectors item worthy of a custodian from enthusiast to museum alike
