This is an undeniably iconic and collectible watch (and becoming ever more so), designed by an even more iconic individual: Gerald Genta (think AP Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus - this man knew a thing or two about designing wristwatches - with its curved lug case and crosshair tuxedo dial, outer engine turned covered bezel, this is 1950s design at its finest
The original dial is in good condition, with some light pitting evenly spread
The hands are straight with just the slightest oxidation and darkened lume , whilst the hour lume markers also remain in tact and present
The caseback engraving remains legible and clearly displays the ref and serial numbers
Crystal and crown were replaced during a FULL OVERHAUL AND SERVICE by our trusted watchmaker - running strong and keeping exceptional time - guaranteed for 1 year
Case is good, with surface wear typical of age - please refer to images
The watch comes on a generic vintage stainless steel bracelet which suits the watch well (19 mm between the lugs)
These watches are gaining traction in the market, and finding a nice example is proving ever more difficult - strike now before it's too late
