There is something unwaveringly appealing about a gilt dial Rolex from the 50s and 60s, especially the mirror gloss gilt dial GMT reference 1675
The present watch features a high gloss lustrous black dial with gilt lettering, “Swiss T < 25” is spread over the bottom 5 minute hashes, therefore we may refer to this example as a "Wide Swiss" (less commonly seen than its 3-hash counterpart)
A well proportioned and thick case with the chamfers still visible; some age related nicks to the case here and there, a small indent to the outer caseback - always a reassuring sign that intervention is doubtful and the case is likely presented as honest and original
Puffy tritium lume plots glow under UV and fall away rapidly, as do the matching and original handset with small triangle GMT hand - an appealing cappuccino colour from time
Presumed original crystal which has been polished to a most satisfactory point of clarity - some very very slight swirling to the gloss dial only visible under raking bright light, a similarly negligible surface dapple just above the "GMT" - it is otherwise blemish free as the images will testify - overall a top and collector grade example
